Latest Covid -19 guidelines for Himachal Pradesh.

VACATION

As the state received some relief from the second wave of covid 19, restrictions in Himachal Pradesh have relaxed marginally.

Himachal always has been a popular choice for travelers in summer and it’s already June. After the strict lockdown people from nearby states are eagerly waiting to explore the famous prettiest locations such as Shimla, Dharamshala & Manali.

Rohtang pass has also been opened for tourists from June 14 onwards.

During your trip to Manali, you can also visit the Rohtang pass. But tourists are not allowed to take their personal vehicles beyond Gulaba and they will have to book a local taxi to Rohtang pass.

Here we are with the latest travel advisory for tourists issued by the Himachal Pradesh government:

  • The negative RT-PCR test report is no more required to enter the state.
  • As section 144 has been lifted in the state so there will be no Covid curfew from July 1.
  • All shops in the state will remain open normally.
  • No Covid e-pass required for people entering Himachal Pradesh.

As per guidelines, travelers do not need RT PCR negative certificate but people are advised to wear masks, practice social distancing and follow all Covid 19 guidelines.
